Township budgets throughout Minnesota are set by the
electors at the March Annual Meeting each year, unlike City and County
budgets that are set without direct public involvement. "Electors"
are residents of the Town who show up at the Annual Meeting and participate
in the decision making process. For the past several years the budget
has not resulted in significant increases in local property taxes
paid by Township Property Owners.
If you wish to comment on the budget or how it is spent, attend the
March Annual Meeting or call a Township Supervisor.
The date and time is always published in the Brainerd Dispatch or Lakes
Country Echo newspaper and on the opening page of our web site.
